For privacy, book one of our two mirrored glass cabins. Each is about 250 sq ft with a queen bed for two, radiant heated tile floors, a rainfall shower, a kitchenette and a private propane fire pit with two Adirondack chairs, set on our private 17-acre estate in Windham, NY. Couples who want more space can choose a fireplace suite.
Is Windham a good anniversary getaway from NYC?
Yes. Windham is about 2.5 hours from Manhattan, so you can leave after work on Friday and be in front of a fireplace by evening. For an anniversary, the Adams, Monroe and Revere suites have an in-suite Jacuzzi tub and steam shower, and every unit except the two glass cabins has an indoor fireplace.
What is there to do as a couple at The Haüs Windham?
Spend the evening in the outdoor sauna or indoor infrared sauna, watch a film in our movie theatre, or sit by your fire pit under the stars. Windham Mountain is about 3 minutes away for skiing, and Kaaterskill Falls and the northern Catskills hiking trails are a short drive.
Is there a hot tub?
The Adams, Monroe and Revere suites each have an in-suite Jacuzzi tub. Outdoor hot tubs have been permanently removed across the property to comply with New York State health regulations.

What time is check-in?
