Cancellation Policies:
Full Charge – Full Stay – If canceled within 7 days of arrival
Partial Charge – First Night Stay – If canceled within 21 days of arrival
Terms & Conditions:
Your reservation is guaranteed until the day of arrival. After that time, it will no longer be guaranteed and the room may be reassigned. We will charge your credit card within 1 days after we have confirmed your reservation. The Haus Windham has the right to cancel your reservation if we do not receive the Pre-Payment Deposit. We will send you a cancellation confirmation via email immediately after cancelling your booking.
- We believe the children are our future, but you still have to be 18 years old and present to book a room
- All requests to reserve a room must include the first and last name of all adults occupying the room and a valid credit card for a guarantee of arrival
- Our room rates are always awesome, and they are subject to change
- Check-in at 3pm
- Check out at 10am
- Pet fee of $50 per night
- Early Check-in and Late Check-out Are available for a fee when available. Please message us to inquire about availability.
- We do not provide fire logs; however, they can easily be purchased at Hickory Hill Market down the street
- There is a linen fee of 24.99 for bedding for the pull-out couch
- If you are renting a car, we recommend one that has 4-wheel drive. Being in a snowy mountain environment, roads can become slippery. We do not issue refunds if a vehicle can not make it up the mountain.
- If you are staying in one of our Duplex suites with a steam shower, please be careful not to touch the steam nozzle as the nozzle can get extremely hot. The nozzle is located under the bench.
You can check in any time after 3 PM by local time. The balance of the full room rental amount is payable on arrival at check-in time. Please note that check-in cannot be completed until full payment and security deposit pre-authorization for the room/apartment has been received and approved. A door code is provided at check-in time after the full rental amount has been settled. The cost of any keys needing replacement will be taken from the deposit.
The security deposit should be released by your credit card issuing bank automatically in 3 workdays, but sometimes only in a 15-21 day period. The security deposit/pre-authorization is not held by The Haus Windham, and we do NOT charge your credit card. Please be aware that bed linen and towels should be placed where they were initially found. The bed linen and towels are NOT gifts and should remain in the hotel.
Truvi is a 3rd party software we use for ID verification and Signature. They will email you after booking.

Reservation Confirmation
Ensure that you have received a reservation confirmation email or text message from our hotel. This communication will contain important details such as your reservation number, unit number, and check-in dates.

Arrival
Arrive at the hotel at your scheduled check-in time and follow the signage directing you to your respective unit.

Locate your Unit with Keypad
Once you have parked or reached the designated entrance, locate the keypad on the door of your assigned unit. The keypad will have a numerical keypad for you to enter your unique access code.

Enter Your Access Code
Using the numerical keypad on the door, enter the access code provided in your reservation confirmation email or text message. Please enter the 4 digit code carefully followed by the check mark.
