How far is The Haüs Windham from Windham Mountain?
We’re a 3-minute drive (about 1.5 miles) from Windham Mountain’s base lodge and ski lifts.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is any time after 3:00 PM. Check-out is by 10:00 AM. Early check-in and late checkout may be available depending on availability — text us at (518) 734-0688 to ask.
How does check-in work?
We use contactless keyless entry. Before your arrival, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your unit number and a unique door code. When you arrive, go directly to your suite, enter the code on the keypad, and you’re in. No front desk, no waiting.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation policies vary by rate type and season. Direct bookings on our website offer the most flexible terms. Please check the specific cancellation terms displayed during your booking, or text us for details.
Is there parking on-site?
Yes. Free private parking is included with every stay. We also have a Tesla Destination Charger for electric vehicles.
Do you allow pets?
We do not currently allow pets in order to maintain a hypoallergenic environment for all guests. We’re happy to suggest nearby pet boarding options if needed.
Is there a minimum stay requirement?
Minimum stay requirements vary by season. During peak periods (holiday weekends, ski season weekends, fall foliage), a 2-night minimum may apply. Weekdays typically have no minimum. Check availability on our booking page for specific dates.
Do you have an EV charging station?
Yes. We have a Tesla Destination Charger available to guests on a first-come, first-served basis. If you drive a non-Tesla EV and need an adapter, let us know in advance and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
What linens and toiletries are provided?
All suites are outfitted with Parachute® linens, duvets, and pillows — the same brand used in high-end boutique hotels. We provide bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion. Think five-star hotel, not vacation rental.
Do suites have kitchens?
Yes. Most suites include either a kitchenette (compact fridge, microwave, coffee maker, basic cookware) or a full kitchen depending on the suite type. Check individual suite listings for specifics.
Do you offer group or event bookings?

How do I get to The Haüs Windham from New York City?
The drive is about 2.5 hours. Take I-87 North (NY Thruway) to Exit 21 (Catskill), then follow Route 23 West for approximately 25 miles to Windham. Our address is 218 NY-296, Windham, NY 12496.
Is the property wheelchair accessible?
Accessibility varies by suite. Please contact us before booking if you have specific accessibility needs and we’ll help find the best option for your stay.
