Mirror Cabins in the Catskills, Three Minutes from Windham Mountain
The Haüs Windham has two mirrored glass cabins set in the hardwood forest of our private 17-acre estate in Windham, New York. From the outside, the mirrored glass reflects the trees, so each cabin almost disappears into the woods. From the inside, the glass works the other way: you look out on the Catskills in every direction, with complete privacy.
Each cabin is built for two. There is no shared wall, and each one has its own fire pit outside the door.

An easy drive from the city. Windham is about two and a half hours from Manhattan and about 45 minutes from Albany International Airport, close enough for a weekend and far enough to feel like a real escape.

Mirror Cabin FAQ
What is a mirror cabin?
A mirror cabin is a small cabin clad in mirrored glass. From outside it reflects the landscape, so it blends into the forest; from inside, the glass walls give you an unbroken view out while keeping the interior private.
Can people see into the cabin?
In daylight the mirrored glass keeps the inside private. At night, with the lights on inside, the effect weakens, so the cabins have curtains you can close.
How many people can stay in a glass cabin?
Each cabin sleeps 2 in a queen bed.
Are the mirror cabins warm in winter?
Yes. Both cabins have radiant heated tile floors plus central heat and air conditioning, so they are comfortable year-round, including ski season.
Is there a hot tub?
No. Outdoor hot tubs have been permanently removed across the property to comply with New York State health regulations. Each cabin has its own private fire pit instead.
Is there cell service and Wi-Fi?
Cell service in the cabins is limited. Fiber Wi-Fi is fast and reliable, and Wi-Fi calling works well.
What are check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is 4:00 PM and check-out is 10:00 AM. Early check-in can be added through the guest portal: 3:30 PM for $19.99 or 3:00 PM for $39.99. Check-in is contactless with a keypad code sent before arrival.
How far are the cabins from New York City?
About two and a half hours by car from Manhattan.
